Her story
Phivae, born Angella Nabifo in the vibrant community of Kireka, Uganda, is a rising voice blending the smooth melodies of R&B with the pulsating beats of dancehall and Afrobeats.
Raised amid the lively streets of her hometown, she found music early. She honed her craft through local performances, turning personal experience into lyrics that carry her roots and her ambitions.
Since her 2025 debut with "See You" and "Dawa" featuring Weasel, she has kept a steady run of singles — "Follow", "Traffic Jam", "Bam Bam", the gospel single "Yogera", the "Traffic Jam" remix with John Blaq, and "Tasobya" — each one pushing her sound further.
